Friends of YMCA is a dedicated working group of North Stoneham Community Group, formed to provide support and resources to YMCA Eastleigh – a vital hub for community activity and services. This partnership ensures that local investment and effort directly benefit residents of North Stoneham Park, by helping to sustain and grow the YMCA’s offerings.

Through this partnership, we are able to focus on delivering our community priorities for the year, which include:

• Bowling – Fun and inclusive activities for all ages and abilities.

• SEN (Special Educational Needs) – Creating tailored, supportive spaces for children and young people with SEN and their families.

• Soft Play – Encouraging healthy play and development for younger children in safe, stimulating environments.

• Youth – Engaging teenagers through structured sessions, youth-led activities and skill-building opportunities.

• Fitness – Promoting healthy lifestyles with accessible and enjoyable ways to get active.

By working closely with the Friends of YMCA and supporting YMCA Eastleigh, we’re helping ensure that the services and opportunities available are shaped by, and directly respond to, the needs of our local community.
