Meet Our Trustees
North Stoneham Community Group is led by a team of volunteer trustees who are responsible for the governance, strategic direction and financial oversight of the organisation.
Our trustees ensure that the group operates in line with its purpose, uses its resources responsibly and delivers clear public benefit to the community and local environment.
What Trustees Do
The Trustees work together to ensure the organisation is well governed and effective. They:
- Set the strategic direction of the group
- Oversee activities and ensure they align with our purpose
- Manage finances and resources responsibly
- Support volunteers and community initiatives
- Ensure the group operates in a transparent and accountable way
- Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place and followed
All Trustees are volunteers and bring a range of skills, experience and local knowledge to the group.

The NSCG Board is made up of 10 Trustees. Our Constitution allows for a maximum of 12 Trustees
Name: Gaz Richardson
Role: Chair
Location: Avenue Park
About: Gaz moved to North Stoneham Park with his family in 2019. Alongside his role as a Deputy Watch Manager in Air Traffic Control, he is involved in a number of community and voluntary roles, including serving as a Parish Councillor. Gaz is passionate about community development and helping bring people together within North Stoneham.
Name: Paula Butcher
Role: Vice Chair
Location: Chestnut Park
About: Paula is a mum of three and has a strong passion for helping others and supporting the local community. She first became involved with NSCG as a stall holder at the Christmas event before becoming more actively involved in the group’s wider activities and initiatives.
Name: Tracey Jones
Role: Secretary, Community Fridge Coordinator
Location: Chestnut Park
About: Tracey has lived on North Stoneham Park since 2020. She founded the North Stoneham Craft Group and coordinates the Community Fridge. Tracey works as a Senior Managing Consultant and is passionate about sustainability, community action and reducing food waste.

Role: Vice Secretary, Newsletter Editor
Location: Homewood Park
About: Clive moved to North Stoneham Park in 2020 and works in digital marketing and communications. He is passionate about community building and local connection, which led him to become involved with NSCG and support its work within the community.
Name: Alex Barrett
Role: Treasurer
Location: Heritage Place
About: Alex moved to North Stoneham Park in 2023 with his wife, two children and dog, Winston. He works in marketing and commercial leadership, supporting small businesses across the South Coast. He is passionate about community involvement and creating positive local connections.

Role: Vice Treasurer
Location: Avenue Park
About: Ben moved to North Stoneham Park in 2021 and became a Trustee in 2025 after becoming actively involved in local events and activities. He brings experience from senior leadership roles in business and has a strong interest in community wellbeing and environmental improvement.

Role: Trustee, Safeguarding Lead
Location: Avenue Park
About: Sammy runs a national charity and is also part of the team at the Clockhouse church. She is passionate about people, relationships and community connection and enjoys bringing people and ideas together to help strengthen the local community.
Name: Agnes Rock
Role: Trustee
Location: Chestnut Park
About: Anges has a varied professional background including service int he Armed Forces, hospitality management and mental health nursing. Having moved to North Stoneham Park in 2020, Agnes brings a wealth of life experience and a strong interest in community and wellbeing.

Location: Heritage Place
About: Kirsty moved to North Stoneham Park with her family in 2023 and values the importance of community, friendship and neighbourly support. She works in data and communications and enjoys helping strengthen local connections and community involvement within the area.

Role: Trustee, Community Gardening Lead

About: Sian is a Mum, full-time carer and home educator with a passion for community gardening and positive community involvement. She enjoys connecting with people and supporting initiatives that help bring residents together and improve shared community spaces.

Our Trustees work collaboratively and are committed to creating a positive, inclusive and constructive environment. Decisions are made in the best interests of the community, with a focus on long-term impact and sustainability.
