Community Events

North Stoneham Community Group organises a range of community events and activities throughout the year that help bring residents together, support community wellbeing and encourage positive community participation.

Our events aim to create inclusive and welcoming opportunities for people of all ages other than connect, get involved and feel part of the local community.

Why We Run Community Events

Community events play an important role in helping build a stronger, more connected and more resilient community.

Through accessible and community-focused activities, we aim to reduce social isolation, encourage volunteering, strengthen local relationships and create positive opportunities for residents to spend time together within the community.

Many of our events also support wider community and sustainability initiatives by encouraging reuse, sharing resources and bringing people together through practical local action.

Some events also provide fundraising opportunities that help support the delivery of our wider community and sustainability initiatives, ensure we can continue to provide accessible activities and projects for the benefit of the wider community.
