Easter 2026

Join us for a fun-filled community Easter celebration at YMCA Eastleigh on Saturday 4th April 2026!

Our annual Easter event brings the community together for a day of activities, games and creativity for all ages. The Easter egg hunt remains completely free, making sure everyone in the community can take part.

Time: 11am-2pm, with prize collection until 3pm
Location: Hunt starts at YMCA Eastleigh

Free Easter Egg Hunt
Our popular Easter Egg Hunt returns! Hidden around North Stoneham will be a series of letters. Collect the letter and work out the mystery Easter phrase. Return to the YMCA, give us the phrase and collect your prize!

The hunt is designed to be accessible for families and children of all ages, so everyone can take part. The route will take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete.

Craft Activity
From 12pm, families can head inside the YMCA hall for a range of free Easter craft activities. Many of the crafts this year use recyclable and sustainable materials.

Games and Outdoor Activities
Alongside the hunt, there will be several fun outdoor games running throughout the day. Some activities will have a small charge to help support future community events.

Colouring Competition
Children (and adults!) can take part in our Easter colouring competition, with prizes available in several age categories.

Simply download the colouring sheet here, decorate the Easter basket and drop your entry off at the cafe at the YMCA. We can also accept entries on the day and there will also be some available with the crafts in the hall.

Community Activities
The event will also showcase some of the great work happening locally:
– Our Community Fridge will be running a free fun food activity
– The Community Garden team will have games and activities and will also be giving away free tomato plants
– Local businesses will be joining us with stalls

Food and Treats
There will be plenty of refreshments available on the day, including:
– Hotdogs
– Ice Cream
– Hot cross buns

Raffle
Our popular raffle is back, where you’ll have the chance to win a selection of prizes generously donated by local businesses and community supporters.

Community Feedback
We’ll be asking visitors to share their feedback through a quick online survey on the day. Everyone who completes it will be entered into a £20 Amazon voucher prize draw!
