Are you, or do you know someone, maybe a neighbour, who is lonely & perhaps lives in isolation with not much opportunity to socialise and engage with anyone? The chatty cafe scheme has been running at YMCA Eastleigh for some time now. This is a social initiative to offer the simple opportunity to go somewhere and know there’ll be someone there to have a natter with.
The NSCG have obtained some funding from our friends at Bargate Homes. As of today, if you fit the above description and would like to go and have a natter with the friendly team at the YMCA cafe, you can enjoy a free hot drink and a biscuit on us! Just mention to the team that you are there for the chatty cafe and they’ll do the rest.
