Our Trustees

The NSCG Board is made up of 12 Trustees. Our Constitution allows a maximum of 12 Trustees

Name: Sammy Jordan
Role: Chair
Location:
Avenue Park
About: You might notice that Sammy likes dots. Her nickname is Dotty Sammy because she likes to join dots, making connections between people and ideas. She’s also known for a few dotty ideas herself! Sammy loves people and community. Her day job is working for a national charity, Hope Together, and she’s also on the team at St Nic’s Church. Sammy is a Christian but would say that she’s a person of faith and not religious and it’s all about relationships not rules. Sammy is married to Shaun and has two children. When she’s not working, doing NSCG or church stuff, you’ll find her in her garden, dancing at the YMCA or watching a box set…with a cup of tea and dark chocolate biscuits!

About: With her two cats Tinto & Tabitha, Tracey has been living on North Stoneham Park since September 2020. In addition to being Vice-Chair for the NSCG, Tracey also set up the North Stoneham Craft Group. Tracey is a Senior Managing Consultant for a large Tech company based in Hursley, so tries to spend her limited non-working time as far away from computers as she possibly can! Tracey is the Community Fridge Coordinator and is incredibly proud of how the community has embraced the community fridge and what we have achieved in such a short period of time. Working on this project has really opened her eyes to just how much of a problem we have in the UK with surplus food. When not crafting or doing things with NSCG, Tracey can be found in her kitchen as she’s a keen cook and amateur baker and even has a cake decorating qualification!

You’re likely to have met Matthew (often with my children in tow) restocking the community fridge, running the jumble sales/exchange events or maybe even from one of the many times he has pulled his BBQ out onto the street to throw some burgers on for community events, trails, street parties or any other excuse he can think of!

Name: Kirsty Balicao
Role: Trustee
Location: Heritage Place
About: Our son joined Stoneham Park Academy’s opening cohort of children in 2020 and we finally moved onto the estate in 2023 from Southampton.

I work for a large DIY supplier specialising in Data and Communications in Chandlers Ford. In my spare time I’m socialising with friends, family or relaxing at home with a book or podcast (Something medieval usually) and occasionally refurbishing unloved furniture.

As a family who do not have relatives nearby, community, friendship and neighbourly support is incredibly important to us. We are very lucky to have made so many wonderful friends so far through school and the neighbourhood.
